I have been wanting to do something fun and different for a styled shoot, something that you don’t see every day and something that is definitely outside our norm. We see a ton of beautiful inspiration that comes from the amazing vendors in our region, but we wanted edgy, sexy, and colorful! This dream started a year ago and almost fell victim to the Pandemic. After postponing 3 different times we finally were able to execute this beauty and I couldn’t be happier! Instead of an actual wedding, we decided to go with the theme of the year and do an elopement style.
We have been sharing a few photos here and there, but I thought it would be great to share a large variety of the shoot! I could not have pulled this vision off without the help of the amazing team behind this shoot!
Liane from The Bubbly Assistant was my rock throughout this process. When I was knee deep in postponements, micro-weddings and planning, she was there helping me finalize details and gather necessary items to pull this off. Liane has been a great resource for our business this past year!
If you have been following us for awhile, you know we are no stranger to Cake Effect. Lauren has been a personal friend of mine for years and I was sooo pumped when she started making cakes! The new trends for couples now is getting a smaller cake to cut and then a variety of desserts for their guests. These cakes are Lauren’s jam. Not only are her cakes incredibly gorgeous, they are equally as delicious! Lauren does a perfect job adding florals and other elements to complete her cakes.

We went to Bridal Chateau for our dress inspiration. Beth, the owner, is incredible to work with. I have worked a few shoots with her now and I send her a photo of what I am dreaming up and she always comes through! To pull this super sexy and edgy look off, we need to go with something completely different and boy did we ever. We used a bridal coat by Lotus Threads and paired it with a body suit. Another reason why we love working with Bridal Chateau, is because Beth is amazingly talented and her dress fly game is on point lol!!
To flow with this edgy look, we had Gwen from Smith and Nash hand paint a white leather jacket and Bethany from B in a Bonnet do vinyl on a jean jacket! We love variety!
Blush Salon was our go to for hair and make-up and holy smokes! We work with Nikki and her team a lot during the wedding season and they always come out on top with flawless execution. The girls nailed my look and even came through with a last minute request with the bobby pin designs in Victoria’s hair.
2 other vendors we are no stranger to are Quaint Rentals and B in a Bonnet. Quaint came through with the black trunk, rug, and couch for our shoot! Rebecca has some incredible rentals and they are all listed right on her site. Her rentals really help complete the look! Our girl Bethany at B in a Bonnet, she is our go to for all signage! If we had it our way, she would be doing every single one of our events! She does outstanding work and is always willing to try new things and think outside of the box! Follow both of these babes now!

Liz at Graphic Poetry put together some cute little stationery details for us. As I mentioned we wanted elopement style so a traditional invitation suite wasn’t necessary, but a We Eloped Card is totally needed! She also added in her Vow books and some cute Bride and Groom scrolls to bring in more details!
Food… we need to bring more food into styled shoots! So we did. Christie at Lush Board Co. came through with the sweetest little charcuterie boards to add some more color and detail! And you better believe all of us vendors had some as well!
Last and certainly not least, Victoria and Andrew! Our models. These guys were amazing to work with. They are a real life couple and their chemistry definitely shows. Both of them totally rocked the style and vibe we were going for!
I hope you all love looking at this creativity as much as I do and stayed tuned to see it around a little more!

There are 100s of photos! I am sure before the end of the year, I will end up sharing every single one of them LOL!
